We’re excited to announce the addition of webhooks to Fleetio’s developer tools! Webhooks help to automate more of your fleet’s activities by automatically pushing data about your assets to other systems and applications.
Choose from over 50 different events such as vehicle status changes, issue creation and resolution, work order completion and more. Fleetio will push details about these events automatically when they occur, helping you set off relevant notifications, tasks and follow-ups in other systems and applications you already use.
So what can you do with Fleetio’s webhooks? Write custom webhook handlers to integrate with an existing system or use Zapier to easily handle event data and integrate it with over 750 different applications. Here are just a few examples:
- Automatically receive a text message or an email when an issue is created
- Integrate Zapier with Quickbooks to create line items when a purchase order is approved
- Receive custom DTC alerts via text message
- Automatically log the date and time your drivers visit a customer address into your CRM tool
